Do you know why some of the ones you have mentioned in your posts (Buff Titanium, Geothite) are not in his list? I happened upon Lunar Black and fell in love with the granulation. Now I'm looking for more, but want to be sure I'll be getting the right thing. Thank you so much for your posts. You are doing beautiful work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881888600945229981.post-39305707392039712332021-09-30T07:21:27.944-07:002021-09-30T07:21:27.944-07:00Thanks for your advice on the gum Arabic rising.
...Thanks for your advice on the gum Arabic rising.
It's not just Buff Titanium they can no longer send. I tried all the DS ultimate mixing palette range, tubes ,pans, and sticks, same result. Hopefully it's just a temporary blip perhaps due to Brexit customs regulations although Jackson's were sending paints with no problem up to only a couple of weeks ago or so. Fortunately I stocked up on ultimate mixing palette range while I was in the UK recently....Just forgot the Buff Titianium!
If things change or I find out what the problem is I'll drop a line to this thread.A.E.Ironbridge Esq. Perhaps a really neutralised purple like Amethyst Genuine. They're not sure why at the moment but suddenly Irish customs aren't allowing import of a whole lot of their art materials. Couldn't order Daniel Smith Buff Titanium in a tube or a pan. Brushes and paper seem to be okay but seems there's a problem with paint. For the moment I think I just bought the last tube of Buff Titanium in Ireland from Evans and that was only a 5ml tube!A.E.Ironbridge Esq. Rayal Talent says it's semi transparent. I found it to be opaque and none granulating.
Just in case somebody is interested.

KhaiberKakarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10536556920314563099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881888600945229981.post-90953924402686257312019-04-25T15:53:02.136-07:002019-04-25T15:53:02.136-07:00I use it so much for urban sketching all over the ...I use it so much for urban sketching all over the world!Jane Blundellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15090185052147945835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881888600945229981.post-67690481591872319152019-04-25T15:52:29.411-07:002019-04-25T15:52:29.411-07:00You come close by mixing a white with raw umber an...You come close by mixing a white with raw umber and yellow ochre but it is not the same.
