I'll be testing this myself but if correct I'll have to use a new colourfast mix as Moonglow is one of my favourites.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XKc1GaH228Proud Kiwihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05904014562119541827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881888600945229981.post-67274615844063587642017-03-16T19:25:59.999-07:002017-03-16T19:25:59.999-07:00Thanks, jane. Thanks, jane.草履虫https://www.blogger.com/profile/15993940927540648695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881888600945229981.post-86476458327822681612017-03-16T02:44:59.095-07:002017-03-16T02:44:59.095-07:00I had a tube that was still perfectly fine after a...I had a tube that was still perfectly fine after about 15 years. I don't use black pigments (with the exception of Lunar Black) as they can leave a 'dead' spot in a painting. So I don't use Sepia mixes either. Some indigo mixes are based on PB27, which I also don't use.

But yes it is easy to mix with phthalo blue plus a little warm red and not much water.Jane Blundellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02809568287344145772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881888600945229981.post-34961653197496657512017-02-05T11:24:50.305-08:002017-02-05T11:24:50.305-08:00Thank you Jane, this was very interesting as usual...Thank you Jane, this was very interesting as usual! It is more like the photo on the Daniel Smith website. The color range is a pale muted pink to an earthy color and the granulation is wonderful. I've used it for stone and brick but I suppose it would depend on what kind of dirt you have in your area.

Maybe when you do your demos at Daniel Smith in the U.S. you'll have an opportunity to sample it from the tube. mlaiuppahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13792165896828163411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881888600945229981.post-19426952629746838222017-01-30T02:43:57.311-08:002017-01-30T02:43:57.311-08:00It's one I have only ever tried from a sample ...It's one I have only ever tried from a sample dot so not one I know well.
